Youmans Cruises to Shutout Friday, May 8th, 1998 In a very sharp performance at Oakland Coliseum, Floyd Youmans of the Arizona Diamondbacks blanked the Oakland Athletics, 2-0. He permitted 1 hit and finished with 7 strikeouts and 4 walks in the Diamondbacks victory. "Floyd goes out there and just goes about his business," Diamondbacks manager Alen Maglajac said in his postgame press conference. "I don't think he gets too concerned about what's going on.
