Palmer Selected UL Player of the Week Monday, May 11th, 1998 This week United League pitching was a feast fit for a king and Dean Palmer really made the most of it -- ripping them royally. The talented Toronto hitting machine produced a .364 batting average, 4 home runs, 8 hits in 22 at-bats, 10 RBIs and 5 runs. That kind of hitting earned him the UL Player of the Week honors. Palmer currently has a .236 batting average with 29 hits, 13 homers, 33 RBIs, 22 runs scored and a .333 OBP. |
