Whitehurst Tosses Shutout

The Milwaukee Creams rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park today. Leading the way to victory was starter Wally Whitehurst, who shackled the Boston Red Sox and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Whitehurst said in his postgame press conference.
This year Whitehurst has a 5-4 mark in 11 starts with a 2.61 ERA. He has given up 57 hits in 76 innings, struck out 47 and issued 9 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .204 batting average against him.
