Drabek Befuddles Oakland Monday, June 1st, 1998 The Las Vegas Angels rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Oakland Athletics at Kingdome today. Leading the way to victory was starter Doug Drabek, who shackled the Oakland Athletics and held them scoreless on a 1-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Drabek said in his postgame press conference. Drabek has taken the mound for 11 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 2-2 record with a 2.86 ERA.
