Ventura and Zavaras Suspended for Free-for-All Thursday, April 9th, 1998 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Arizona-Colorado contest at Bank One Ballpark. The Diamondbacks Robin Ventura and the Rockies Clint Zavaras will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. In his 1998 season totals, Ventura has no home runs, .200 BA, .286 OBP, 0 RBIs and 3 runs scored. |
