Livingstone Stretches Hit String to 25 Thursday, April 16th, 1998 The hot bat of Missions third baseman Scott Livingstone continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 25 games after he went 1-for-5 in today's 5-3 loss to the Tarantulas at Texans Stadium. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Scott Livingstone flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Livingstone is batting .352 this year with 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 25 hits in 71 at-bats. |
