Livingstone Goes Hitless, Streak Stopped at 29
Tuesday, April 21st, 1998
The Salt Lake City Buzz did something to Scott Livingstone no team had done for the last 29 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Missions, who came away with the 3-2 victory at Texans Stadium.

"Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 32-year-old third baseman said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted."

For the year Livingstone has hit .313 with 1 home run, 8 RBIs and scored 14 runs.
