Brass Mitchell Gone for Year Tuesday, April 21st, 1998 Doctors in New Orleans said John Mitchell might not play anymore this year. The Brass starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum during a game against the Portland Stag and will be out for at least 10-11 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. This season Mitchell has fanned 27 in 38 innings and collected a 1-2 record with a 3.32 ERA. |
