Munoz Punishes PAC Pitchers This Week Monday, May 18th, 1998 At the age of 29, Pedro Munoz might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Naperville left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .484 batting average. For his efforts Munoz collected the Pacific Player of the Week Award. He racked up 15 hits in 31 at-bats, 4 home runs and 5 RBIs last week in 7 games. Currently Munoz is hitting .292 and has collected 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 22 times, while playing in 46 games. |
