Jaha Week's Top Player Monday, May 25th, 1998 At the age of 31, John Jaha might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Jacksonville first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .600 batting average. For his efforts Jaha collected the Atlantic Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 20 at-bats, no home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 6 games. To date this season Jaha is hitting .340 with 6 home runs. |
