ATL Honors July's #1 Pitcher Saturday, August 1st, 1998 Despite the number of years he's been in the league, Pete Harnisch still gets excited when he puts together a quality stretch like he had in July. The 31-year-old starter for Danville was named Atlantic Pitcher of the Month earlier today. He collected 5 wins and no losses with 45 strikeouts in his 6 starts, putting up a fine 2.68 ERA in 40.1 innings of work. This year Harnisch has a 12-7 record and a 4.31 ERA. |
