PAC Player of the Week Awarded Monday, August 10th, 1998 Dave Berg burst onto the Pacific stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie second baseman for Omaha garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 27-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .667 (14-for-21) with 1 home run and 14 RBIs last week. Looking at his present stats, Berg has compiled a .345 batting average in 116 games with a .403 on-base percentage, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 67 runs. |
