Milwaukee Creams starter Kelly Downs was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Boston Red Sox, 5-1. Downs went the distance for Milwaukee. He gave up 1 earned run on 9 hits. The winning continues for Milwaukee, with the latest making it 7 straight.

Garret Anderson brought the hometown crowd to its feet with two out in the bottom of the first. That's when the top prospect belted a 3-run home run. With the round-tripper, the Creams took the lead, 3-0.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Downs.
