Expos Solve Rockies, 6-4
The Montreal Expos got a rather unremarkable outing from starting pitcher Ed Correa, but it was good enough for the club to take a 6-4 decision over the Colorado Rockies. Correa, now 5-5, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 8, walking 5, and allowing 3 earned runs. Montreal has now won 3 straight, while the Rockies have lost 3 in a row.

With two out in the bottom of the fourth, Scott Servais had a game-changing hit. The Expos catcher slammed a 3-run home run off Jose Rijo, making the score 6-2, Montreal.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Servais told the Montreal Daily.
