Red Sox Drop Another One
|
It was a fun time at Riverfront Stadium, where the Boston Red Sox and Cincinnati Reds tangled.
Cincinnati Reds starter Derek Lowe pitched a strong game against the Boston Red Sox at Riverfront Stadium, leading the Reds to a 7-2 win. Boston has now lost 6 straight.
The Reds got a big at-bat from second baseman Akira Eto. For the game, Eto was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Cincinnati a 3-2 lead.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Cincinnati manager John Frey. "Our pregame was pretty good."
