The Buffalo Bisons got a magnificent effort from pitcher Mac Suzuki, who kept Columbus hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Bisons win at Aspinwall Grounds. Buffalo reliever Joel Adamson picked up the win to move to 2-0. Vladimir Nunez suffered the loss. Losses have been few and far between for the Clippers so far this season. Their record drops to 4-2.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Buffalo right fielder Duane Singleton, facing Rich Loiselle, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Bisons the 2-1 win.

"Enjoyed this one," Singleton told the Buffalo Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
