Blue Crabs Double Up Savannah, 4-2
|
Ocean City right-hander Jim Neidlinger made an effective start against the Savannah Swamp Foxes at Paradise Grounds, leading his team to a 4-2 win. At 4-2, the Blue Crabs have played well so far.
Ocean City used the timely hitting of Garey Ingram to capture the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blue Crabs on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but he made it count.
Ingram called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
