The Bisons grabbed a win, 3-2, at Wolves Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Hartford pitcher Robert Person. Person went 7 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Tim Fortugno earned the save, his 1st. The Bisons are off to a tough start, getting just their 6th win in 15 games.

A decisive at-bat came in the top of the fourth inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, the batter, Marc Sagmoen, hit a 3-run home run. It made the score 3-0, Buffalo, and helped them go on to win.
