6-4 Win by Otters Continues Hot Start
|
Otters first baseman Roberto Petagine put his stamp on his team's 6-4 win over the Ocean City Blue Crabs. Petagine was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs for Milwaukee in the contest. Todd Ritchie recorded his 5th save for Milwaukee. The Otters have hit the ground running, raising their record to 13-5. While it's still too soon to talk about Milwaukee hoisting their 1st World Series trophy, fans are getting excited about their strong start.
The Otters took a 5-3 lead in the top of the eighth inning. Facing Ocean City hurler Julio Valera with one out, Petagine hit a run-scoring double.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Petagine. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
