Clippers Lose to Beasties in Walk Off
There was no shortage of dramatics at Ravens Ballpark today.

The Bluff City Beasties took Columbus pitcher Jason Jacome's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Ravens Ballpark. The final score had Bluff City getting past the Clippers, 4-3. Jacome went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs, striking out 6. Bluff City reliever Ron Villone was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Brad Cornett took the loss.

Kevin Jordan was a prime contributor to the Bluff City win. He went 1 for 6. In the bottom of the 13th with no one out, the 28-year old second baseman hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It made the score 4-3, in favor of the Beasties.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Jordan.

The Beasties, now 13-16, know that wins in April count the same as wins in September.
