The Buffalo Bisons stopped the Columbus Clippers, 9-1, behind an impressive performance from Matt Stairs. The 30-year old left fielder made life miserable for Columbus pitching. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. John H. Doherty earned the win for Buffalo.
