Suns Beat Red Wings in 10

Fans who came to Field of the Running Rebels watched the Jacksonville Suns and the Rochester Red Wings fight to the finish.
The Jacksonville Suns faced a tough opponent in Rochester pitcher Blake Stein, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Field of the Running Rebels by a final score of 5-4. Stein went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The win was Shayne Bennett's in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Dale Polley took the loss for Rochester.
The game was at a stalemate until catcher A J Hinch came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Rochester pitcher Dale Polley, he hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Jacksonville on top, 5-4.
"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager .
Rochester has now lost 6 straight.
