Bisons Prove Rude Guests, Win 8-4 at Bluff City
|
The Buffalo Bisons beat the Bluff City Beasties, 8-4, at Ravens Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Bob E Smith, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. John H. Doherty was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 1 run on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts.
