Dairy Daddies Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
Buffalo designated hitter Henry L. Rodriguez had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Rodriguez was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once, even as Danville beat the Bisons, 8-7. Rodriguez was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Bisons, now 29-30, have lost 4 straight.

The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Danville designated hitter David Ortiz. In the top of the tenth inning, with one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Ortiz hit a sacrifice fly to help Danville seize the win.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant , the Danville manager.
