Beasties Roll Over Red Wings, 12-2
The exploits of center fielder Rikkert Faneyte helped the Bluff City Beasties defeat the Rochester Red Wings, 12-2. Faneyte went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. The 4th-place Beasties now have a win-loss record of 33-34.

Eduardo Perez in the top of the sixth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Beasties leading 4-2, the Bluff City first baseman drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

Perez said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."
