Blue Crabs Turn Back Moonshiners, 2-1
|
Jamie Brewington pitched a gem to lead Ocean City to a 2-1 victory over the Asheville Moonshiners. The Blue Crabs bumped their record to 43-28 with this latest triumph.
Charles Gipson had a nice at-bat for the Blue Crabs with two out in the bottom of the seventh. With runners on 1st and 3rd, the center fielder hit a run-scoring single, which would prove important in the Ocean City win.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Asheville manager , "let me know."
