Victory Pushes Otters Record to 57-29
|
Starting pitcher Allen Watson pitched well enough to help the Milwaukee Otters beat the Ocean City Blue Crabs by the score of 6-4. Milwaukee is now 57-29, 2½ games up in the Atlantic Northeast.
It could have been a different outcome for Milwaukee, had it not been for Tony Graffanino, the 26-year old second baseman . Graffanino contributed a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Milwaukee up, 6-3.
Watson pitched well, despite being a bit under the weather. "To be honest, I was sick before the game," he said. "Just a stomach bug."
