Swamp Foxes Double Up Bluff City, 4-2
|
Savannah Swamp Foxes starter Jin Ho Cho was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Bluff City Beasties, 4-2. Scott Sullivan got the save, his 5th in 6 chances. Savannah now owns a record of 44-40.
Savannah used the timely hitting of Ron Jones to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Swamp Foxes on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Cho said.
