Bisons Slip Past Bluff City, 4-3
|
Aspinwall Grounds was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Buffalo Bisons and the Bluff City Beasties.
The Buffalo Bisons did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Bluff City Beasties at Aspinwall Grounds. Nobody did more than third baseman Robert Eenhoorn, who captured player of the game honors. The win was credited to Felix Heredia in relief. His record improves to 8-5. Jimmy Key took the loss.
Eenhoorn had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-0 fastball from Jimmy Key, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Bisons a 4-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Eenhoorn.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Buffalo manager .
The Bisons bumped their record to 48-40 with this latest triumph.
