Dairy Daddies Get Road Win, 8-2
The Danville Dairy Daddies topped the Savannah Swamp Foxes by the score of 8-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Todd Hollandsworth. Hollandsworth went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Dairy Daddies on the day. Calvin Schiraldi was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 7 save opportunities. The Dairy Daddies, now 57-30, have won 4 in a row.

It could have been a different outcome for Danville, had it not been for Javier Valentin, the 22-year old catcher . Valentin contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Danville up, 4-2.

Valentin said afterward that the win gets the team one step closer to its goal.
