Perez goes 3-for-4 to Power Beasties Offense
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 28-year old left fielder Eduardo Perez helped the Bluff City Beasties beat the Milwaukee Otters, 9-3. Bluff City reliever Hector Carrasco was the winner. His record is now 1-0. David Weathers took the loss. Bluff City goes to 48-62, Milwaukee to 76-34.
Felix Jose had a big 2-run single for the Beasties in the bottom of the second inning. With Bluff City leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from David Weathers and stroked the single to left. It was his 101st hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Beasties ahead, 4-1.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Jose.
