Otters Nip Dairy Daddies, 5-4
The Milwaukee Otters scored a 5-4 win versus the Danville Dairy Daddies at Kernels Ballpark. Milwaukee pitcher David Weathers nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Milwaukee goes to 78-37. The win puts them 4½ games up in their division.

Milwaukee used the timely hitting of Howard Battle to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Otters on top, 5-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I was a little disappointed," said Danville manager . "We could've and should've scored more runs."
