Moonshiners Prove Rude Guests, Win 4-2 at Bluff City
|
Asheville rode a decent outing from starter Ken Cloude to victory over the Bluff City Beasties at Ravens Ballpark. The final score was 4-2. Cloude went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 9. His record improves to 7-9. Asheville has now won 4 games in a row.
It could have been a different outcome for Asheville, had it not been for Jolbert Cabrera, the 25-year old left fielder . Cabrera contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put Asheville up, 1-0.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Asheville manager . "It's usually not just one thing."
