Bisons Get Road Win, 5-3
Buffalo Bisons starter Willie Blair pitched effectively against the Bluff City Beasties at Ravens Ballpark. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 5-3 win. Buffalo is 67-53 and Bluff City, with the loss, 51-69.

Buffalo used the bat of Dave Nilsson to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bisons ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Blair said.
