Late Rally by Tarantulas Secures Win
Crowds lined up early in front of Ballpark of Milton, eagerly awaiting the start of the 1998 Hugg Baseball League season. On the mound was Rick Krivda for the visiting Tucson Tarantulas and Charles Nagy for the hometown Naperville Lazy Fisherman. In a spirited contest, the Tarantulas pulled out the win, defeating the Lazy Fisherman by the score of 10-9. Earning player of the game honors was Joe Ayrault.

Darren Bragg contributed an important at-bat in the top of the eighth. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that helped send Tucson to the win.

"We found a way to get it done," Bragg said.
