Thrilling Walk-Off Win for River Rats
Spokane starter Bobby M Jones pitched effectively against the Portland Stag at Foxes Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a 5-4 win. Spokane reliever Joel Johnston got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Vic Darensbourg was tagged with the loss. The loss drops Portland to 2-2.

Spokane took a 5-4 lead on Mike Simms's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Simms hit in the bottom of the tenth, left Portland pitcher Vic Darensbourg visibly frustrated.

"This place was jumping at the end," Jones said.
