The Spokane River Rats topped the New Orleans Brass by the score of 6-4, with the largest share of the credit going to shortstop Tony Rodriguez. Rodriguez went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the River Rats. The winner was Spokane reliever Matt Whisenant, now 1-1. The loser was Jeff Tam. Mike Magnante recorded his 1st save for Spokane.
