Meluskey Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Colorado Springs in Walk-Off Win
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox downed the Tucson Tarantulas, 5-4, in 10 innings. Lou Collier led the way, going 2-for-4 for Colorado Springs. The winner was Colorado Springs reliever Curtis King, now 1-0. The loser was Keith Foulke. With the win, Colorado Springs improves its record to 4-4.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Mitch Meluskey came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Tucson pitcher Jerry DiPoto, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Colorado Springs on top, 5-4.
