Hollins Helps Tarantulas Run Win Streak to 4
The Tucson Tarantulas downed the Tacoma Rainiers, 7-5, at Ballpark of Louisville. The Tarantulas were led by Dave Hollins, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Sean Bergman went 5.1 innings for Tucson to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 2 earned runs. He scattered 7 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 7. His record improves to 2-4. The Tarantulas, at 15-19, have now won 4 straight.

With Tucson leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Hollins hit a fastball from Brian Rose for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Tarantulas ahead, 5-2.
