Idaho Falls right-hander Jim Pittsley pitched his team to victory over the Portland Stag at Tuttle Fields. The final score was 5-2. Pittsley got the win, improving to 2-4. He allowed 7 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. Pittsley allowed 2 earned runs. The Stag, now 15-24, have lost 9 straight.
It could have been a different outcome for Idaho Falls, had it not been for Marcus Jensen, the 25-year old catcher . Jensen contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the first inning to put Idaho Falls up, 2-0.
