The Tucson Tarantulas eked out a 4-3 win versus the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at Ballpark of Louisville. Nobody did more than pitcher Kevin Tapani, who captured player of the game honors. Keith Foulke earned the save for Tucson, his 11th of the year. Tucson is now 22-21.

Dave Hollins, who is tied for 7th in the PAC in hits with 60, aided the Tucson cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman was 1-3 with a walk.

"This was a good win," said Hollins.
