Rainiers Get One-Run Win at Portland
Portland wasted a solid 9-inning effort from starting pitcher Brett Tomko, losing to Tacoma, 1-0, at Tuttle Fields. Tacoma's record now stands at 35-42, placing them 5th in the Pacific West.

Bobby Hughes, the Tacoma catcher, contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to make the score 1-0, Rainiers. For the game, Hughes was 1-3.
