Storm Chasers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Stag
The Omaha Storm Chasers topped the Portland Stag, 2-1, in Pacific action at Tuttle Fields. The player of the game was Omaha pitcher Osvaldo Fernandez. Scott Arnold was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 7 of 7 save opportunities. The Storm Chasers move to 42-39 with the win, while the Stag drop to 29-52.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out in the top of the eighth inning. That's when designated hitter Carlos Febles, who leads the PAC in bases on balls with 47, drew a walk. The Storm Chasers went on to win.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Febles.
