Brass Roll to 8-3 Win Over Stag
New Orleans first baseman Jeremy Giambi made his presence felt in the 8-3 Brass triumph over the Portland Stag. Giambi was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. New Orleans now owns a record of 52-37.

Pat Watkins had a productive trip to the plate with one out in the bottom of the second inning. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 2-run double, helping New Orleans to the win.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Giambi, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
