Chamberlain Helps Stag Run Win Streak to 4
The Portland Stag thumped the Tacoma Rainiers, 8-2, at Premont Grounds. Wes Chamberlain was a big reason his team got the win. Chamberlain went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The Stag have now won 4 straight.

In the top of the first, Chamberlain pounced on a 2-1 slider from Greg McMichael and hit a 2-run home run. It put Portland on top, 2-0.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Chamberlain told a Portland Daily News reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
