A 3-RBI performance from Bobby Higginson, who leads the FL in RBI with 31, helped the Cincinnati Reds beat the Chicago Cubs, 14-6. The Cubs fall to 12-18 and continue their uninspiring start to the 1998 season.

Higginson had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Reds went on to win.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Higginson said. "We did a good job of that today."
