Creams Need Extra Frames to Get Past Marlins
The Milwaukee Creams beat the Florida Marlins, 6-4, at Joe Robbie Stadium. Garret Anderson was recognized as player of the game for his performance. He was 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The 25-year old left fielder was a menace to Florida all day. The win brings the Creams to 14-18, a soft start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

Anderson had a game-changing home run in the top of the 12th. On a first pitch slider from Marvin Freeman, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Creams a 6-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Anderson.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Anderson.
