Twins Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start
|
The Minnesota Twins faced a tough opponent in Boston pitcher John Ericks, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Fenway Park by a final score of 5-2. Ericks went 5 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Pedro Astacio picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 2 earned runs on 10 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 1-0. Trevor Hoffman closed it out for his 1st save.
