5-for-6 Game for Leius Wednesday, May 27th, 1998 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Scott Leius is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Rochester Red Wings at Fire Dogs Ballpark today. The monster effort from the 32-year-old third baseman helped the Ocean City Blue Crabs take the win, 19-6. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Red Wings manager . "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Scott Leius doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
