The Buffalo Bisons downed the Jacksonville Suns, 15-6, at Field of the Running Rebels. The Bisons were led by Brian Daubach, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. Buffalo reliever Joel Adamson was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Ricky Bones took the loss. The Bisons, now 2-1, have played some good baseball in the early going.

The Bisons got a lift from left fielder James Mouton, who in the top of the eighth stroked a 0-1 curveball into right for a run-scoring single. It was his 3rd hit of the season and put the Bisons ahead, 7-6.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Daubach said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
